The encyclopaedia La vida en otros mundos (Life in Other Worlds in English) reviews the first attempts to reach outer space. Like in most of the materials released before the digital era, offset is the used printing technique.

The images of the book report some highlights of the space race. If that were not evoking enough, the plasticity of the photographs is enriched thanks to the ink materiality and paper weight.

I used the pages of the encyclopedia to make a series of collages and drawings, where I combine artifacts from those cultures colonized by the West with images from expeditions to the unknown.
