Since 2022, I live most of the time in Bucharest. Romania
maintains some important traditions when it comes to textiles, from making
processes to symbolic uses. Although still from an outsider point of view, I
dedicated myself to the study (through drawing and pure admiration) of some of
these ancient and not-so-old pieces, such as wool carpets, bed covers, pillow
cases and embroidered blouses.
As my knowledge of Romanian language improves little by little, I
hope to deepen into the conceptual side of these folk elements. But until then,
I am happy to say these are, probably, my best drawings to the date.
