Between 2013 and 2015, I studied the Master of Arts of Printmaking at the Royal College of Art. I produced hundreds of prints back then, from multi-layered stone lithographs to risograph zines. Doing monoprints was the exercise I found the most enjoyable.

There is no concept behind this work other than the search for pleasure during the process and the experimentation with different printing techniques.

Although I do feel a distance between these prints and my current practise, looking at them makes me recall the great joy and productivity of my student years.

I have added here a selection of some of my favourite ones:

Colonia, 2015, 59.5 x 42 cm. Series of 9 lithographs (stone, three colours), edition of 10.

Travelling from Home, 2014, 60 x 84 cm. Series of 6 lithographs (plate, one), edition of 10.

The Memory Is Like a Damm, 2014, 15 x 20 cm. Series of 50 monoprints in screenprint.

Los gordos, 2015, 10 x 15 cm. Series of 50 monoprints in lithograph combined with collage.

Some other examples of monoprints I made in screenprint and lithograph (I made hundreds!).
